My homage to Fritz Lang's 1927 classic Metropolis.

Incredible artwork- and so much more sophisticated than most fanart! :D

I loved that movie. Though the bit where the guy keeps having doors slammed on him in the scientist's house is a little...odd.

ps. I heard it was Hitler's favourite film.

The premiere theatrical release and original version is believed to have been 210 minutes long. The American version was shown in a version edited by the American playwright Channing Pollock, who almost completely obscured the original plot. A quarter of the film is believed to be lost forever. Great movie that is as relevant today as it was in 1927. Thanks for looking and for your supportive comment.

:D Yes, and amazing how much of it has influenced other things (eg. Blade Runner). This deviation encouraged me to look up the wiki page.

And wow- 1927. :omg: It'll be 100 soon(ish).
